No wind for a while but today was worth the wait :) Out on the water just before 9am on the 9m XBow. Just about manageable initially but some of the gusts were heading towards `hanging on' territory. After about an hour the sun came out wind moderated a bit and smoothed out... Perfect. Perfect...Perfect. Big swell and lots of white water everywhere to add to the fun. Sand had moved around a lot and various sandbars appeared as the tide dropped (got stuck in a 'lagoon' when a wave receded after leaving it a bit late to gybe on one occasion!). Forced in for a sandwich at 12 and then back out for another hour. By then the sea had moderated and tide was low so lots of fast passes dodging in front of breaking waves all the way back in- and each wave was breaking along the entire length of the beach today. Not that I'm greedy but I hope it stays good for the weekend cos I have 9am and 4pm lectures to give tomorrow so not much chance of getting out...

Just noticed I was caught (very briefly) briefly on camera - at the beginning of Als video, the only kiter out yesterday.
Excellent conditions....
